Acupuncture is a healing art that originated over 3,000 years ago. It is based on the circulation of blood, nutrients, and energy called Qi, which flows within pathways throughout the body. Qi and blood have direct influences on each other. If the flow of Qi is obstructed, the results can be pain and ill health. Gentle insertion of thin needles at precise points along the body are used to help free the flow of Qi and blood, restoring harmony to the body.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine can be used effectively to treat a wide variety of health disorders. There are many common disorders that can be treated with acupuncture.
